Ive been waking up with clusters of bites around my body that i thought were mosquito bites but i get new ones almost everyday so i thought they could be bed bugs… I checked my matress and the wood on my head board but didnt find anything but i did notice that at my inlaws the bed i sleep in the mattress seems to look like black brown mold is it possible to have brought them home with me and not even noticed? how small are they? do they also come out to feed during the day if i sleep?

It is, in fact, possible that you brought them home with you. The adults are the size of the seed from a medium sized apple, but early stage nymphs can be as small as the period at the end of this sentence. They feed, too. Bed bugs are active mainly at night, but if you are sleeping on an infested bed, they will feed during the day, as well.
